Public Remedies And Private Problems.
As a staunchly committed homosexual I often make the natural mistake of assuming that my sodomizing brethren carry with them a higher level of taste, manners and sophistication than our pussy slamming and bourbon curating cousins, but sadly the evidence that this is in fact not always the case sometimes smacks me right across the face.
Listening to music while on public transportation has long been a way I conducted what would otherwise be unpleasant hours during my day. However, I firmly believe that there is no music so beautiful that the sight of someone eating on public transportation does not ruin it almost entirely.
While on a recent Sound Transit journey to SEATAC I was luxuriating in the sounds of something I have regrettably now forgotten, but I was eating enough edibles to be grooving quite sufficiently. Halfway through the journey I notice what is undeniably either a homosexual couple or a far too familiar pair of work companions I really couldn't care which because one of them was eating a cheesy eggy bacon breakfast wrap right there in front of God, myself and everyone else.
Gone are the sedate days when one could count on sharp whispers and indiscreet points to put the offending item back into its 'lunchpail' so I was stuck watching not only this ill-bred and emaciated thing which clearly needed the nourishment devour the breakfast wrap, but also the almost methodical manner in which they would rub their spidery pale fingers together in order to deposit the crumbs in the aisle as though the very idea of a napkin eludes them.
This is why I have no patience for democracy or any sort of social leveling.
'Bring back the lash!' I almost shout out loud. If anyone needed a lesson from one's social betters it was these dandyish brutes.
I could fill a diary with my thoughts on polka dots generally, polka dot socks specifically, and even more specifically on the hideous spotted hose this cretin had on his bony ankles, but there sadly may not be enough time remaining for me in this life for such noble works, but that should not stop others from taking up the mantle of decency.
Naturally, as we arrive at SEATAC I am overwhelmingly curious to see the kind of inappropriate baggage used by people like these and of course I notice they are both hoisting Trivago branded backpacks onto themselves so quite unsurprisingly they've made it their occupation to spread discourtesy throughout the globe.
