Left Closer And Alone.
I tried to warn the fuckers at Metro. I told them what I was going to do if they persisted in not getting their shit together and all you have to do is scroll down a little in this record to access some of the unpleasantness I have been subjected to.
Nothing will ever really approach the Spring of 2017. For many reasons nothing will probably ever approach the Spring of 2017. The month in which I was evacuated from an LA Metro bus three times in one month. The first time was due to a firearm that one of the passengers failed to relinquish. The second was a non-paying passenger who refused to debus so the rest of us were forced to and wait for the next bus, and the third time happened on April 20th and I remember to this day not only because it was 420 and I was trying to score some weed, I was also trying to sign a lease on a new apartment.
Subsequent bus evacuations resulting from everything from urine to engine failure to MVA were followed by the usual rage emails promising reprisals, but above all promising I would buy an enormous gas guzzling SUV and drive the son-of-a-bitch all around LA and congest traffic, pollute the air and blast house music.
Well the day has finally come. I've secured a late model 1993 Ford Bronco with 23,000 miles and a whole future of misadventure to share with me. Right now the HMS Rowdy-As-Fuck is still in Idaho with me waiting out this pandemic, but we are already dreaming of the time we can roll down Rodeo drive in this beast blasting country music.
I know I promised myself and more importantly the slags at Metro 90s house music, but rules are rules and one rule with the Bronco is country music and cassettes. The cassette prescription means we are somewhat limited to Skinny Puppy and Erasure's Two Ring Circus, but classics are classics and The Beast, like the Two Ring Circus, is a classic. Country music and Christian Rock are provided free of charge in Idaho on the radio waves.
Adventures pending.
