Holy Crap! I had no idea that these things actually existed. I thought hot cross buns was just a line from Boys In The Band, but they are an actual pastry. Shows you how big of a foodie I am. I guess they are traditionally consumed on Good Friday (today) when some Christians feel it appropriate to give the turkeys, cows, pigs, etc. a break.
