I'm Not An Accountant.

Feeling a little let down and hurt following Michael Chiarellos loss on Top Chef Masters last night. I suppose since they are all Masters they are all winners, and one could tell oneself such things to lift one's spirits in times of drear and disappointment, but the fact remains that it was a competition. A competition Michael didn't win. And that simpering saccharine Rick Bayless did. Puddles. The only consolation was when Hubert Keller kept dropping his French accent. He may be from Alsace as he mentioned no fewer than 5 times last night, but when push comes to shove he sounds like he graduated from GeoDub High School 06'.

One standout from Rick Bayless was when he comments that putting truffles on something doesn't make it special just expensive. Priceless and true we love it!!
